I went to Cherry Hill High School East from September 2016 to June 2020. My Freshman year, I designed and built a shoe to detect falls in the elderly, which took me to Intel ISEF. From there, my High School experience took off. I qualified for the Vex World Championship with my team (2616D) 3 of 4 years, and I attended DECA ICDC in 2018. I spent a summer in Spain learning Spanish through a language immersion program, and when I came back, I started performing research at Stedman Labs at the University of Pennsylvania. My senior year of high school I won a National Merit Scholarship and gave the valedictorian address at my virtual graduation. I am currently attending classes at Penn where I study Computer Science and Finance.
I have experience writing machine learning software after developing a document clustering API using LayoutLM for Infosys. I advise startups for Weiss Tech House and write scripts for UAVs for Penn Aerial Robotics. I fundraise for the Wharton Undergrad Entrepreneurship Club, and I perform standup comedy for Simply Chaos. I learned to code both OCaml and Java through CIS 120 at Penn, then applied these skills in CIS 121. I learned to work in SQL and Python, and frequently use both in my Big Data Analytics class (CIS 545). In the past, I've developed Arduino-based prototypes for 2 potential startups, and used Internet of things to bring them to life. I speak Spanish proficiently and can manage or work well in a team when given the opportunity.
I am looking for employment that will challenge me. I'm happy working in software or business related positions, and I would love the opportunity to work through tough problems. I would love any job that makes me think, and I would be happy to put in long hours for anything I enjoy. I want to be at a company I'm proud to be a part of.
